Highlights: First dive in a month! It's good to be back in the water. First siphonophore with a very juvenile manefish (Caristius - perhaps species madarensis), my first janolus and a lion nudi. The kelp forest at Vallecitos is growing in nicely.
It was a very relaxing dive today with little surf and surge and a nice leisurely swim along the wall towards Vallecitos Point. A lot of interesting (non-normal) life out today.
Very juvenile manefish (Caristius - perhaps species madarensis) hiding on a siphonophore (Apolemia sp.)
