Highlights:
Gorgeous vis above 30 feet. Clear blue warm water. My first time capturing sea lions.
Both Brad and Graham brought scooters, so I got a nice tow out to Seal Rock. I also decided to dive wet, since the water temp was so nice. It's my first time diving So Cal wet since I got my drysuit over a year ago. In some ways I miss it...
We scootered out to Seal Rock and were delighted to have 2 to 3 sea lions frolicking in the whitewash. Occasionally, they would swim a little closer to see what we were up to. We then tried to navigate to Deadman's Reef underwater, but I think I led us in the opposite direction, so we got a nice tour of the desert. On the way back in, the shallows were very clear and the sun had come out. There were a few large waves, but there was a big gap between sets.
